1. Samantha Arsenault (born October 11, 1981) is an American swimmer and Olympic champion from Peabody, Massachusetts. She competed at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, where she received a gold medal in 4 × 200 m freestyle relay.^[1] She swam on Greenwood Memorial Swim Club in Gardner Massachusetts before qualifying for the Olympics.
2. Samantha Jane Beckinsale (born 23 July 1966) is an English actress best-known for her role in London's Burning and her role as Lesley in the sitcom Shelley from 1989–1992. She is the elder daughter of Richard Beckinsale and half-sister of Kate Beckinsale.^[1]

Samantha Casey (born October 4, 1988) is a beauty queen from Jeffersonton, Virginia who represented her state and competed in both Miss Teen USA 2006 and Miss USA 2010, becoming one of very few women to place in the top 5 of Miss Teen USA and Miss USA. Casey was crowned Miss Virginia USA 2010 on November 21, 2009. She competed for the Miss USA 2010 title on May 16, 2010 in Las Vegas and placed 2nd runner-up. She finished 5th in swimsuit, with a score of 8.733, advancing to the top 10. In the evening gown competition, she scored 8.675, also placing her 5th in evening gown. 5. Samantha Cole (October 19, 1978) is an American dance-pop singer/songwriter. Cole grew up in Southampton, New York. At the age of 15, Cole began taking vocal lessons and landed a number of singing engagements in New York.^[1] Cole made some 30 appearances (and one performance) on MTV's The Grind, and became a regular performer at Tatou in New York City.^[2] Through these appearances, Cole was discovered by Universal Music's Doug Morris and Daniel Glass, and promptly signed to Universal Records.^[1]
6. Samantha "Sammy" Cools (born March 3, 1986) is a Canadian Bicycle Motocross (BMX) racer.    Holvey was born in Houston, Texas, later lived in Morgantown, West Virginia and resided in Buies Creek, North Carolina during her reign. Holvey competed in her first Miss Universe Organization pageant in 2004, when she placed fourth runner-up in the Miss West Virginia Teen USA pageant and in late 2005 won the Miss North Carolina USA 2006 pageant in her first attempt at that title. Are Mormon's/ LDS Members Believe in Polytheism or Monotheism?

Mom (or rather Kyle) asked me if our religion (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) are Monotheistic or Polytheistic? I immediately said Monotheistic. Even though to my dad said I was right and in a way to my mom I was wrong, I didn't have enough information to back up my answer. So here I am, searching for the true answer. May God help me.


This is what I found so far:

     ~ "Three Separate Beings: 'In common with the rest of Christianity,' Elder Oaks continued, 'we believe in a Godhead of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. However, we testify that these three members of the Godhead are three separate and distinct beings. We also testify that God the Father is not just a spirit but is a glorified person with a tangible body, as is his resurrected Son, Jesus Christ. … In contrast, many Christians reject the idea of a tangible, personal God and a Godhead of three separate beings. They believe that God is a spirit and that the Godhead is only one God. In our view, these concepts are evidence of the falling away we call the Great Apostasy.' ²

      Not long after the deaths of the Savior’s New Testament Apostles, ideas from Greek philosophy began transforming plain and precious gospel truths. Conflicting doctrines regarding the nature of deity led Emperor Constantine to convene a churchwide council in Nicaea in A.D. 325. The resulting Nicene Creed eliminated the concept of deity as separate beings by declaring Jesus Christ to be “one substance with the Father.”

'Other councils followed,” Elder Oaks explained, “and from their decisions and the writings of churchmen and philosophers there came a synthesis of Greek philosophy and Christian doctrine. … The consequences persist in the various creeds of Christianity, which declare a Godhead of only one being.'" ³

President Gordon B. Hinckley has said, “The experience of Joseph Smith in a few moments in the grove on a spring day in 1820, brought more light and knowledge and understanding of the personality and reality and substance of God and his Beloved Son than men had arrived at during centuries of speculation.” ⁴

In 1843 Joseph Smith summarized what he had learned through direct revelation about the Godhead: “The Father has a body of flesh and bones as tangible as man’s; the Son also; but the Holy Ghost has not a body of flesh and bones, but is a personage of Spirit. Were it not so, the Holy Ghost could not dwell in us” (D&C 130:22).
